- Explore different materials for flooring, walls, and ceilings (wood, stone, metal, glass, fabric, etc.).
- Consider textures and finishes to enhance the overall feel.
- Measure and analyze the existing space dimensions.

- Decide on wall treatments (paint, wallpaper, textured panels, stone, etc.).
- Choose ceiling finishes (false ceiling, wooden beams, recessed lighting).
- Consider sustainable and high-quality materials for longevity
- Select furniture pieces that align with the design theme.
- Choose between custom-made and ready-made furniture.
- Select upholstery fabrics, textures, and materials for sofas, chairs, and beds.
- Pick accessories such as curtains, rugs, cushions, mirrors, and wall art.
- Plan the placement of decorative elements for balance and style.
- Divide lighting into three layers:
. Ambient Lighting – General room lighting (ceiling lights, chandeliers, recessed lights).
. Task Lighting – Functional lights for specific areas (reading lamps, kitchen counters, workspaces).
. Accent Lighting – Decorative lighting (LED strips, wall sconces, spotlights on art pieces). - Consider natural light sources and optimize window placements.
- Integrate smart lighting controls for dimmable and automated settings.
